We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Manager to join our People team and help us optimize our People processes, drive employee engagement, ensure global compliance, and foster a culture that aligns with AZDS’s values for our global team of 130 full-time employees and independent contractors.
Your expertise will influence how we attract, develop, and retain top talent in a global setting. This position reports to the Head of People, Talent & Culture and oversees a People Program Advisor and an HR specialist who will assist in operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
Conduct initial interviews to ensure candidates align with AZDS values & meet basic role responsibilities.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure talent acquisition processes are optimized and sustainable
Collaborate with the recruitment team to build and maintain a talent pipeline for future needs.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance AZDS's employer brand, ensuring the company remains an attractive workplace for top talent.
Onboarding and Adaptation
Manage contracts and make sure we are compliant with local laws and legal requirements.
Lead the Global onboarding process and adaptation programs.
Continuously evaluate and enhance onboarding process efficiency.
Support employees during the probation period and gather feedback for improvements.
Employee Development & Performance Management
Collaborate with managers to assess training needs and update team development plans.
Implement professional growth initiatives in alignment with development needs
Conduct trainings & workshops to help newly promoted leads or managers develop their managerial skills.
Collect feedback, analyze KPIs, and support managers with performance reviews, goals, and individual growth plans.
Work with the Head of People, Talent & Culture to refine performance evaluation practices to align with organizational objectives.
Organizational Development:
Design and implement HR policies and processes aligned with business priorities.
Analyze and optimize HR practices, ensuring relevance to the organization's goals.
Work with Google Docs, HRIS/HRMS systems and tools such as Slack, PeopleForce, Confluence, and Miro.
Automate feedback collection, including implementing a 360-review system for different positions.
Evaluate and enhance organizational structures for efficiency and agility.
Plan structural changes to improve transparency, minimize redundancy, and optimize resources.
Employee Relations and Engagement
Provide coaching and support to employees and managers in complex situations.
Monitor employee satisfaction and suggest initiatives to improve engagement and loyalty.
Identify potential points of tension, skillfully manage competing interests, and foster constructive resolutions.
Conduct exit interviews, review feedback, and make suggestions for improvement to maintain a positive employer brand.
Required Skills and Experience
English proficiency (B2+), both written and spoken.
3+ years of HR experience in a generalist capacity.
Strong knowledge of modern HR practices, motivation systems, and team management methods.
Experience with performance management tools (e.g., OKRs, 360 reviews, systems for collecting feedback).
Analytical skills and experience working with HR metrics.
Excellent communication and management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote format.
Proactive and independent, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Experience with HRIS/HRMS systems (we use Deel, Slack, Confluence, PeopleForce, Miro)
Ability to balance organizational goals with employee interests.
A systematic approach to tasks and a critical eye for process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
Experience in working in an international IT/digital company.
High emotional intelligence and openness to direct feedback.
Situational management expertise.
